Miss Capital Area Scholarship Program

Scholarships awarded vary from year to year. For the 2008-2009 year, scholarships were awarded as follows:

Caitlin McGlinchey Miss Capital Area 2009 $1,300

First Runner-Up $500		Second Runner-Up $300
Third Runner-Up $200		Fourth Runner-Up $100
Corlin Family Miss Congeniality Award $50

In-kind gifts for Miss Capital Area 2009 included:

A gift of Lia Sophia jewelry valued at $100

Miss Capital Area also receives a scholarship from the Miss New Hampshire Program just for being a contestant in the state pageant. Additionally, there are scholarships available from the national level that are awarded directly to contestants in the program (contestants must apply for these scholarships individually.
