Mrs. Capital Area 2011 Competition

Information
Mrs. Capital Area 2011 will be selected on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Concord City Auditorium. The only rehearsal will be during that day, following the contestants' private interviews. The curtain will go up at 3:00 p.m.

Private Interview 30%
Evening wear 20%
Onstage Interview 10%
Talent 40%

The pageant theme is "Come Fly With Us".  For the opening number, contestants are asked to wear a cocktail dress.  The dress can be any color -- your choice!  Wear heels that you can move in.  The opening number will be simple -- just a walking pattern -- and won't be judged.

Entry Fee:

$75.00* (checks made payable to Miss Capital Area Scholarship Program)

* EARLY REGISTRATION INCENTIVE: Submit your paid registration by August 31 and pay only $60! That’s a 20% savings! Register now! Applications must be received by August 31 (mailed applications must have a post mark no later than August 30.)

$5 general admission at the door

Prizes:

Mrs. Capital Area will receive a beautiful crown and banner.

Eligibility and Rules

1. Must be married as of the date of the competition.
2. Entrant must be at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry.
3. Fees as submitted by contestant or on her behalf by sponsors or family is non refundable. The fee is a tax deductible contribution to the Miss Capital Area Scholarship Program, Inc..
4. Entrant will continue to be a person of good moral character; affirms that she has not committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public morals and conventions.
5. Entrant must be a U.S. Citizen and must live, work, or attend school in New Hampshire.
6. No person may hold the title of Mrs. Capital Area more than once.
7. Entrant understands that the sole responsibility of Mrs. Capital Area is to return the following year to crown the next Mrs. Capital Area, and that no appearances will be arranged or scheduled by the Pageant. Upon winning the title, Entrant may arrange appearances for herself if she so chooses.
8. Entrant agrees to allow any photographs taken of her during the competition and crowning to be used for publicity and future promotion.

Please download the application form. Completed form is due no later than October 2, 2010. Also required by October 2 is a color photograph. Electronic photographs in .jpg format are preferred. If submitting an actual photograph, please submit a 5 x 7 or smaller.
